Gallery Updates

Our kids have been having a lot of fun participating in several events that helped out our community. The first of these events was a $250.00 donation to Nova Middle School’s Debate Club. Kids Can followed that up with two events at the Nicklaus Children’s Dan Marino Hospital. And finally, Kids Can’s monthly Calling All Chef’s event that featured almost 50 kids who made over 300 sandwiches that were donated to the Jubilee Center of South Brevard.

Pictures of these events can be found on our Gallery page.

Kids Can’s S.O.S Village Donation

On Saturday January 10, 2015, Kids Can visited the S.O.S. Children’s Village armed with clothes, books, toiletries, towels, shower curtains, rugs, and countless other items so desperately needed by the foster children living in the Village.

In the weeks preceding the visit to the Village, the children who comprise Kids Can spoke with their family and friends in an effort to gather as many household items as possible in order to deliver and donate to the Village. Their mission was a success and brought smiles to the recipients, as well as the Kids Can kids who had the privilege and pleasure to make the deliveries.

When asked, Blake Backman, one of the Kids Can board members, said: “It made me smile to see them smile. We sometimes forget how fortunate we are and to help others makes me happy.”
