Kids Can Lunch Donation – August 2013

On Sunday, August 25th, Kids Can successfully accomplished their goal of making 150 individual bag lunches for the Jubilee Center of Hollywood. The kids made and packed all of the bag lunches which contained a PB&J sandwich, a bag of chips, and a juice box. We’d like to thank all the incredible kids and families that came out to Howie’s Top Dog in Davie to help us accomplish our goal and hope to see more faces at our next volunteer event.

We also want to say a big thanks to Howie and his family at Howie’s Top Dog for allowing Kids Can to use their restaurant to prepare these lunches.

Pictures from the event can be found on our Gallery page.

The following is the thank you that Kids Can received from the Jubilee Center:

Thank you so much for the donation of PBJ sack lunches this morning Pennie. It truly is a generous donation that helps us feed working poor and homeless individuals and families with children. It truly is a blessing to have you part of the Jubilee family that is helping those in need.

Sincerely,

Michele M. Venable
Director of Social Services
